Kane Area Loggers Safety Meeting

The 52nd Kane Area Loggers and Sawmillers Safety meeting will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at a new location this year. The outdoor event will be held at The Flying Dove Ranch, 743 Old Red Mill Dam Rd. in Ridgway. Afternoon SFI course will include Spotted Lanternfly training and Pipeline Safety and Awareness. Evening meal and program begins at 5:30. Sam Lincoln, professional logger and former Dep. Commissioner with the Vermont Dept of Forestry, parks & Rec., will present on efforts in Vermont that have successfully improved safety while reducing worker’s comp rates.
